Beyonce

Last night my NYC bestie Maria got us tix to see the one and only Beyonce!  She's so pretty and such a fun dancer / performer.  With that being said I wasn't dying over the show.  I am not familiar with her new songs but I did like her old stuff.

So, her show was basically a history lesson - the history of Beyonce.  She started with some Destiny's Child songs... then went in to her Dream Girls stuff... then her solo stuff.  Before every song she gave the exact date / time it was released.  During the show she also talked about how Jay-Z poposed on March 4th, her dad's bday is on Sept 4th, Obama was elected on Nov 4th.  It was pretty weird and there were a lot of dates floating around.  I turned to Maria and said in "1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue."  Bahahahaha.

Single ladies was awesome of course!  She and 5 back ups did the whole dance.  That was the highlight of the night.
