Nutella Shot

I am not a huge fan of takings shots, but this I might just have to try, especially with the holidays coming up!

Via
Gianduia (Chocolate-Hazelnut) Shot (serves 3):

3 oz. Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
3 oz. Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
1.5 oz heavy whipping cream

Nutella to rim the glasses

Mix ingredients in a cocktail shaker.  Shake for 15-20 seconds.  Serve in Nutella rimmed shot glasses.  (http://daydreamerdesserts.com/2011/01/nutella-embodied-in-a-shot.html/)

NYC - Part 3

The rest of our NY trip...

The next morning we met at French Roast and had some yummy lattes in these amazing lion mugs.  I am trying to find out where to buy them.  If you know, please email us!

Then we went to Columbus Circle and got waffles from the Wafels and Dinges food truck.  We got wafels with nutella and they were so delish!  Definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip.

NYC - Part 2

More NYC fun...

KT and I got our hair "did" at Dry Bar.  For $40, we were really happy with our finished product.  Plus the salon is super cute.

Then we had a great dinner at Buddakan (www.buddakannyc.com/) with our friends and family.  We ended up doing a pre-fixe menu, the same one we had at my bachy, and it was delish!

NYC - Part 1

Howdy!

KT and  I had a great time in NYC this weekend!  First we went to eat at Good Restaurant (http://www.goodrestaurantnyc.com/) - they have a yummy bread basket that you should try!

Matt (Em's Hubby) and CT (Our Brother)

We then went to the New Museum to check out the Carsten Höller: Experience.  They told us the wait could take up to 2 hours but I would say it was more like 45 minutes.  KT and I got so nervous before hand but the slide ended up being not that bad.  We would definitely recommend going if you are in the city.

Before

After - cool helmet KT!

They also have this pretty sweet Mirror Carousel that you can jump on while the rest of your friends wait in line for the slide.

More NYC fun to come tomorrow!

Fun Fact Friday!!!

Hi Ya'll,

Happy 11/11/11!

Via
Today's fun facts are all about today's amazing date:

1.  November 11, 2011 (or 11/11/11) will be your last binary day for almost a century, so enjoy it while it lasts.

2.  Don't know what a binary day is?  It's a date that consists of only 1's and 0's when written in mm/dd/yy format (or dd/mm/yy for our European readers).

3.  "Binary years" have only 9 such dates, meaning there are only 36 binary days in a century.

4.  This binary day is as rare as it gets, since all six numbers in the date are 1's.

Em & I cannot wait to be together in NYC this weekend.  What are you guys up to?

KT

NYC-O-Lantern

What do you think of my NYC skyline pumpkin???  How did you celebrate Halloween?

Last night the annual Village Halloween parade was held in my neighborhood and people got crazy!  This morning 6th avenue looked like a garbage dump and smelled like pee.  GROSS.
